Office

According to the regulation information, the Japanese licensed broker was located at 1-11-1, Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The surveyor visited the broker.

According to the regulation information and the online map, the surveyor found an office building that looked quite moderan. 

The surveyor entered the building from the front door and saw several safe guards checking the visitors’ identity information. The surveyor was informed from the floor directory at the first floor that Societe Generale had an office at the 32th floor.

So the surveyor entered the elevator but found that visitors shall swipe the card before go to the 15th floor or higher. It was a pity that the surveyor could not go upstair to inspect. 

Conclusion

The visit by surveyors confirmed the authenticity of Societe Generale’s regulation address. The broker’s suspicion of misusing, misappropriating or imitating the license of a legitimate broker could not be ruled out though it held a retail forex license issued by FSA. Investors are advised to resort to their good judgement after consulting the said above.
